We’ve got some new character models for Sir Magnus and the Dragon! Here’s King Fioprecht (played by Keith Shull), the Page, and some WIP of one of the king’s guards. Character models by Wolfgang Nilz.
We’ve got some work-in-progress pictures of the next character, King Fioprecht! Sir Magnus’ sovereign that gives the aged knight the task of slaying Summermir is voiced by Keith Shull.
Well, it’s been a quite a while since our last update, but there’s not too much that has happened. Modeling of the characters continues, with Ardelia having been completed and Sir Magnus’ armor currently in progress. (see images below) As far as I know, there hasn’t been any work on the environments, since my computer crashed and I lost the email address of our environment artist! (Jeremiah, if you read this, please email me so we can get back in touch.)

Things have really been moving on the production of Sir Magnus and the Dragon! We’ve got a fantastic environment artist and character modeler signed on, Jeremiah Spoon and Wolfgang Nilz, respectively. Check out this sneak-peek of the computer-generated concept model of Sir Magnus!
Modeling of the characters and locations is currently underway and will proceed through February, at least. As models and locations are finished, we will begin the animation process, with a planned release date of mid-late 2011. More details to follow as they become available.
