Things have really been moving on the production of Sir Magnus and the Dragon! We’ve got a fantastic environment artist and character modeler signed on, Jeremiah Spoon and Wolfgang Nilz, respectively. Check out this sneak-peek of the computer-generated concept model of Sir Magnus!
Modeling of the characters and locations is currently underway and will proceed through February, at least. As models and locations are finished, we will begin the animation process, with a planned release date of mid-late 2011. More details to follow as they become available.

Even ultra-low budget productions like this need some capital in order to be made. So we’re selling actual frames of the finished film as a way to raise the needed production costs! We are still looking for a character modeler/animator for our 3D-animated short. If you’re interested, please email your name, experience, animation software owned and a link to your demo reel/website to Contact@StandingSun.com. We will accept applications from 3D animators that can work remotely and can send clips electronically. Please note that this is NOT a paying job, though we can work out a deferred payment plan should the movie sell. If you need experience, this is the project for you!
